Went to see a job over the wk end and the customer wants a wet room over tiled and the waste lifting to the new height.

Is this possible? Can anyone give me a few pointers please.

Over-tiling a wet room....

I'd be asking the old-professionals this too if this were my customer!

Too dangerous I would avoid it or get them off re-skim and start from scratch

Not really!

If the existing wet room is sound, then over tiling should present no problems.

You would need to reskin the floor and walls resealing the room before you tile it you cant rely on the previous one as all comebacks would be left at your door if it leaks. When you adjust or replace the gulley you are breaking the seal. Too many variables you have no control. My personal opinion of course
