ive just started tiling and looking for a van. on a budget as ive just started and not earned alot. i was thinking a side door would be better, but i havent a clue with any type of motor
side door good idea.got astra envoy.great runner, economical but a pain for loading.going to try vauxhall combo with side door next.load tiles behind seats via side door tools via back.good luck
I started with a Mondeo estate. Soon ran out of space. Now got a Citreon Relay Van. I can't fault it, Good reliable van. As can get as much in it as I want. You can pick one up quite cheaply. Just take a mechanic with you to look it over don't want burnt fingers.
I have the Transit connect and it's great I am running low on space though plus you are restricted on the size of boards and ply wood you can fit it.
When I was looking about a year ago it seemed ones with side doors were quite a bit more expensive hence I don't have one. It's not too bad, just have to contort yourself a bit to get to the back!
M-B Vito every time for me. Two sliding side doors and 180 deg opening barn doors on the back so it can be loaded by forklift. Very comfortable and economical to drive as well.
