Re: Centre training centre coventry

Sorry to here that mate, all training centres should be quality regulated by governing bodys, there are a lot popping up at the moment, too late for you but people should look hard into the centre they choose for training before parting with their cash, pick the ones with the good independant feedback on here not just a centre that is close by, there a 4 main training centres advertised on here that cover the North, Midlands and the South, you only do a course probably once so if it means traverling a bit and staying over then it will be worth the hassle in the long run.
Hopefully you will learn a lot by fishing around on the forum for answers to questions you might have

Re: Centre training centre coventry

No problem mate, any questions dont be shy, just ask away and im sure you will have the answer back straight away, best of luck with the tiling, first 3 months are the hardest because thats your main learning period, things get a little easier after that because things start getting repetitive.
Regards
Darren
PS dont forget to have a look at my post on key to success, might help you out a little

Re: Centre training centre coventry

Darrens right I could have done a course 20 miles away from for £200 less, after looking on here I decided to go with North East Tiling Training. Cost me a few quid more with digs and fuel ect but well worth the extra money.
Cant recomend Darrens course enough. I know he will make me more than it cost me extra back in a few weeks.

Re: Thank You Central Tiling Training Limited

Have you seen their brochure? Shows a CIS deduction certificate and tries to indicate that this is a realistic "salary". I think this is complete misrepresentation of the facts! CIS deductions are made on labour and travel invoiced to the contractor. If the rest is "salary" what does he pay his business bills with?

Perhaps you could elaborate on that for us?

What was it that you didn't like?

What would you have liked to have seen?

What was there that you did like?

I know Chase had some problems with them when they first setup, I even spoke to an associate of theirs at one point that was helping them sort out some 'in-house problems' (I think I remember the guy explaining them using that term).

The guy I spoke to was really sound and explained alot, though I know the problems with Chase got a bit out of hand and I think it wasn't really Chase's fault. I've had a few negitive feedbacks left about CTT before now and have decided to not post them live, some very detailed.

It was some time ago and I hoped they'd improve (we all need to start somewhere) though clearly this guy wasn't happy.

I'd love to hear more about it. "This course wasn't good" just doesn't help inform the readers of our website about what exactly was not good about the course.

I hope to read some more about the course.

Re: Centre training centre coventry

Hi there,
Unfortunatley there is the good the bad and the down right ugly in every industry and we are no different. I can't help you recoup your expenditure but I can say that sites like this one WILL help to educate guys like yourself and hopefully have a detrimental effect on gettring rid of the cowboys who tend to jump head first onto every bandwagon thats in motion. Just like you guys Who are recommended on your reputation for quality , price and deliverance so are we. The poor tradesman/Training centre will ALWAYS fall by the wayside and good ridance I say as well:thumbsup:
