This may seem like a trivial question ,but it's one of the most important pieces of kit we use and I've never really had one that I can say was brilliant, the best I've probably had is a Stanley fat max.
So is there a chalk line out there that anyone thinks is very good?
Thought I'd ask as before Antonio posted about Sola levels I was using cr*p ones in comparison.
@LEE MAC
do not ask. to antonio.

Mark I use to think the same, no way I'd pay big doh for a chalk line, but after throwing I don't know how many in the skip and wasting God knows how long re striking lines my frustration made me ask the question on this forum and I'm glad I did. If you get one and use it for a day or two I promise you won't regret it, a fantastic piece of kit and their chalk dosent wear or brush off. Top notch in my opinion and well worth it!

I find it hard to use a chalk line when, like me I have no friends to hold the other end. :( Even using a stack off tile, brick or a hobo (homeless person not an instrument ;)) on the other end I can never get it spot on.
When i'm working on my own i get the customer, if there, to hold the line. If i don't like them i get them to wrap it round their finger and pull it really hard ;)
