Checking my price for a 10m2 Granite floor

My 2011 aim is to try & increase my quote:job winning ratio

I've done a few quotes since the weekend and got 2 out of 3 - so not bad, as long as they do actually happen. But I want to check this quote I gave today...

10m2 square kitchen floor
concrete floor
slight hump in the middle
some levelling required (3-5mm possibly here & there)
30x30 Granite with black grout.
job is 50 miles from home (but as i'm working near there at the moment distance didn't really matter)

my quote was based on 1 visit to scrape/tidy up the floor, prime, level the areas that needed bringing up. Visit 2 to do most or all of the tiling in 1 day, visit 3 to finish off tiling if needed, seal, grout & seal

I think thats everything.
my quote was £475 inc all materials - levelling, adh, grout & sealer

I don't know why but this 1 has had me itching my head with what to charge, but I think its a realistic price. Any opinions?

Its a reasonable price if its on your doorstep. But 100 miles worth of diesel and travel time per day is going to eat into your profit quite a bit.

your answers have helped.
I originally had a higher figure but felt I couldn't really justify it. After all its 47.50 per mtr. So I went with it. I think i gave a very good price knowing exactly what work was going to be involved
The customer didn't budget for the additional cost of fixing Granite - they assumed it would be a quick & easy job the same as Ceramics - until they got a few quotes. So I'll put it down to their budget limits - not my steep price.

Grout and seal in the same day ??? What sealer says that ? The sealers I have used say floor must be grouted and dry for 24 hours before sealing ?

Neale beat me to it... was going to suggest an additional half day to return to do the final seal. Unless of course you grout in day 2 but that may not be possible if you dont get it all done in time
