I was on a job today tiling for a builder and the plumber turned up and asked for a card. He said ''If your tiling is up to my standard i will use you for my work''...Ok i said can i have one of your cards then if you plumbing is up to my standard i will tile for you!!! He left and he didnt give me a card...:lol:

I had a similar situation years back, the plumber kept giving me tips about setting out, how to fix trims, the best tubbed adhesive etc :yikes:

After about half an hour I picked up a piece of paper, tore it into the size of a postage stamp, handed it to him and asked him to "write everything you know about tiling on to this"
He left me alone,
