chill out time

well weve had a very busy year now its time to chill out.
ive been doing 12 hr days all november
ive always said im going to ease off for christmas and this year i am. only 4 days to go then off on a well deserved holiday 4 nights in sunny agadier morocco
are any of you guys planning a chill out time?

I didn't finish until 2pm Christmas Eve last year so said I would finish mid December this year. That's not going to happen now as I start a car showroom on the 8th

Im having a hernia opp on the 15 th and wont he back till 6th jan...
I try and have every friday off now and deffo won't work weekends......I have done the long days in the past but there's more to life than just work. As long as I earn enough to live and a bit put by for a rainy day then im happy. .

I stop around the 20th if all goes to plan... But I'm tiling my own bathroom and my brothers and a display in his showroom .. So might chill a few days lol.

Told the Mrs I'll be finishing on the 19th but hopefully before. My knees need a rest and so do I. Being self employed and working long hours and weekends has about finished me off this year. Tempted to just to go and work for someone else.

Had a very busy year, up to this weekend I've just dine 26 days without a day off.

But... Hoping yo get 2weeks a Xmas ,
then on the 7th jan off to Manchester to have eye lens replacement! Might be able to see the tiles better then?

I'm ready for a break, hopefully get done a couple of days before Christmas, not going back til the 5th. Had a good year so mustn't complain, haven't had to work too many weekends either, that makes a big difference, rest is as important as paying the bills.

Well I was planning a good break over the festive but that's not going to happen as work has went mad the past month.
I started a "Tiler" last Friday to try & clear my feet & sacked him on the Saturday morning, back fired on me & hopefully I haven't lost the flats I was doing.
Still hoping to get a few decent days off..

Just had an xray on my left knee its not looking good at the moment but wont know for a fortnight, might have to hang my overalls up for good.

Week off between crimbo & new year.

Then a week in Lanzerote at the end of January

Its been a mental year, never been so busy, so have promised myself and the family I am finishing on the 19th for 2 whole weeks, we shall see.......
