Chipboard bathroom floor

Hi people i haven't been on here for a while and want to ask a quick question that you've probably heard a thousand times before.

Can i stick and screw 6mm Hardibacker straight to 18mm chipboard floor? Will use 2 part flexi. Haven't looked at job yet to see if floor is rigid.

Yes as long as the chipboard is deflection free

i thought you could stick it down with just spf as the addy only fills the voids and the screws holds the boards down

So i don't need to use a 2 part such as Fastflex then? Is single part ok to go onto chipboard? Do i even need to have adhesive under the boards if the chipboard substrate is flat?

Deffo use adhesive, single part flex. No need for 2 part.
