chipboard floors

hi

laying on chipboard floor,no more ply 12mm to bring up levels using their adhesive and screws. this is to a floor connecting to a hall, the hall has been tiled with trevertine and a thick bed presume flexible adhesive and grout onto a coni floor. i'm going to lay pocelean tiles on both floors. After removing the trevertiine tiles the adhesive left on the floor, can this be filled with the new adhesive to form a level surface before spreading the adhesive to start tiling?. is the porcelean adheesive and the ones used for the trvertine compatable or will it be better to latex and then spread the adhesive?
also on the transition from the wood to the coni floor, would it be advisable to take the no more ply over the joint

I would prime the floor first with a suitable primer, not pva and then use a self level compound to sort out any rough service, on the join from the concrete to timber i would put an expansion threshold and not bridge the gap, also any deflection in the timber floor needs to be sorted before the no more ply is fitted.

im a joiner by trade, and had experience laying tiled floors on coni but not on joisted floors.iam open to your advise on the adhesive. o.k it travertine spelling mistake,

the adhesive for the concrete floor and the timber floor, would it be best to use the same adhesive on both or the flexible on the timber and the normal on the concrete for porcelain, and the adhesive to have a additive to the grout?
