Just pulled up a kitchen floor today where there had been a waterleak and the tiles had cracked etc. Pulled up the tiles and plywood (what a stink) only to find the chipboard is soaked right through. Said to the guy renting the house it will have to dry out for at least a couple of weeks for me to see if it is strong enough to relay 12mm ply on top.

Got a call this afternoon saying that when he moved his tumble machine back he stuck his foot through the chipboard! :mad2:

How can i get around this one? Is it possible to remove chipboard when there is a kitchen on top or should i lay ply down and fix to the joists where i can?

Help!:huh2:
