Welcome to the forum, Chrizzy. good luck in your quest, in the current climate you might need a part time job to support your tiling if possible. Tough times, but as we all say, we will be stronger at the end of it!

One customer was going to charge me council tax on one bathroom refurb, don't worry about time , it's all about quality at the end of the day

Chrizzy, this should make you feel even better cos 5 days for a full bathroom is bloody good going by anyone's standards especially someone new to it . My only advice would be to repeat exactly what Faithhealer has posted, don't jepordise your standards to build your speed up as you will pick both up with time.

How big was this full bathroom you just did, did it have many cuts or a window or anything cos 5 days is very good (even if it was just the walls)

Good for you though mate

TJ

approx 15 metres TJ one window and a nightmare aluminum border strip thing which i forgot to put in twice and had to take a couple of rows of tiles above down again to put it back in
was working till about 6 30 in the evening the first few days but
im realy glad u said 5 days isnt bad because im sick of hearing storys about tilers been in and out in a couple of days
and the lad whos bathroom it was thought id be done in a day or two looked dissapointed when i said think im hear all bank holiday weekend mate

Hi again, Chrizzy and a proper :welcome:!! Enthusiasm and drive, that's what you need on a consistent basis, coupled with the right intention and attention to quality and detail, add tidy, polite and cheerful service, that's what will get you the work....and further recommendations
