Chrome tile trim - Urgent advice required pls

Hi all,

I was wondering whether you would be so kind to share your opinion with me on tile trim cuts.

I am nearly done with having my bathroom tiled and im wondering what cut of trim is to be used on the windows.

Sorry im a noob when it comes to technical terms so apologies if i havnt described it properly, but would you recommend a 45degree mitre cut to join edges or a straight cut? I have a chrome tile trim that fits onto 1 side of the tile. Im concerned that 45 degree mitre cuts with Chrome wont be entirely neat and it will result in imperfect joints. Straight cuts would be the easier option but iv never seen that before.

any help or advice with pics if possible would be greatly appreciated.

p.s sorry to mark this as urgent but iv got my tiler coming over tomorrow so i need to tell him what i want.

Which trim are you using? rounded edge or square or L shape ?

For the internals I would mitre, for externals I would use corner pieces

I agree, mitre all the way, straight is just plain lazy in my opinion. I'd imagine this member has made her decision by now though

If you are concerned, or are a bit of a newbie then straight cuts will be absolutely fine, I doubt anyone will hardly notice.

Personally, in any situation I always mitre because I think it does look better and for a professional, I think it's fair to say that it would be standard practice anyway.

I was pulled up or this recently and told to not mitre ! Doesnt look right to me !

mitre every time I use the genesis miter block and a new hacksaw blade for a smoother cut remove bur with a fine polishing block

if it is my work then i mitre but for this firm they just want internals cut straight
