Hi there,
Just done a job today and yesterday. It was a renovation of a terracotta floor in a conservatory about 10m2. Was a right mess with 20 years of grime and it had never been sealed. Anyway the up shot was that it took me 1/2 a day to clean and 1/2 to seal.
I charged £120 for the two half days plus £60 materials (prob only cost £40) so £180 in total. The customer was so over the moon with the floor that he told me I hadn't charged him enough and gave me £220
What is realistic to charge for this type of work?
This one was my first renovation and I was obviously to low?
cheers
James
