Cleaning slate floor after sealing?

Hi all, my first post here and it may seem a little silly but need some advice! I recently had a problem with my slate floor so I stripped it back and resealed with Lithofin Slate seal, 2 coats and it looks a treat. I asked at the tile place what product they would recomend for cleaning the floor, i asked 2 people and got 2 different replies! First answer was use Lithofin Easy clean and do not use anything like stardrops. Second answer (on a different day, different bloke) was to use star drops as the Lithofin Easy Clean is basically a concentrated version of Stardrops!

The room in question is a family room / kitchen with a front door and french doors to the garden so it has alot of traffic on it.

Can anyone reccomend the best way to clean the floor? Many thanks all!

sealed slate is easy to maintain and clean, of course spills should be cleaned straight away, you can clean slate with warm water only > for better result use lithofin easy clean, stardrops is all round cleaner, i would not used it

Hi Stevie.... As Dontiler had said..warm water will be fine and a bit soapy if need to clean grime..

Don't use the star drops ... if a good clean is needed then you can use a more intense cleaner which won't remove the sealer..LTP washwash is good.
