Hi

When tiling to a movement joint, what would grouting to the edge then covering with a bead of clear Silicon look like?

the reason I ask is I am already putting in a high materials bill and didnt really want to throw in the cost of a couple of tubes of grey Silicon £20 to the mix (i know in the grand scheme of things etc whats £20)

but

Just a thought really, that way if the grout does crack, the Silicon would hide it, wouldnt it?
