Spare Tool
Longshot but does anybody know how this urn can be brought back to its former glory..
It actually sounds like cast iron when you tap it but have found out its made out of very slow fired unglazed ceramic.
Its got family history, my grandad found it buried and broken in a garden he was working on thirty years ago and took it home and stuck it all back together, god knows what with (unfortunately he's not around to ask anymore ) but its stayed in one piece till last week when I tried to move it and it came unstuck from the base.
Does anyone have any ideas what would be the best thing to stick the top and the base back together and also clean and repair all the cracks in the top of it?
Appreciate any help..
