Cold tonight

Temps in some parts of the uk... will drop as low as -20dgs....and this weather is to last at lest another 10+ days..

We in the n/east are due snow this evening and into the night...Flash weather warning says the met office..

And then the south are in for a lot of snow sunday...


Deffo gunna be cold though....and grit salt shortage as well..

This country never seems prepared for snow..

We've had weather warning for a few days so far, not seen one grit lorry

Brighton & Hove have said in the local press that we have large supplys of grit and it is unlikely to run out, I'm sure it won't if you never use it!

Thats arctic weather -20, we were told we were going to have snow tonight but now there saying freezing.

Gritters are nowhere to be seen.

Britain is preparing for the coldest night of the winter so far as the deep freeze gets deeper.


Temperatures in parts of the Scottish Highlands, Lancashire, Cheshire and Oxfordshire could fall as low as the minus 20s - as cold as Moscow.

well I hope it continues.. I've just ordered myself a pair of snow boots - walking boots that are furry lined and above ankle height.. can't wait to use them :hurray: hope they don't get stuck in the post :ninja:
