Will be doing my first job with these tomorrow, just a kitchen splashback but how do you go about spacing/cutting them.

I havent seen them yet just going off what the customer said but would like to be prepared for the worst.

Thanks.

and grout should be polymer modified to stick to the sides

As regards cutting use fine blade wet saw,if glass face spelches then cut from rear.....always wear protective eyewear....Gaz

Thanks for that. One more question, I am told these mosaic strips are tiny, around 15mm per tile, surely impossible to wet cut......

NIGHTMARE TO CUT

Ihave found wetsaw no good, try and score and snap with cutter or nippers.
Try and space so minimal cutting or with cuts into corners.
Try and adjust spacing during setting out to avoid cuts - takes more work , but increasing your spacing on a few grout lines by a fraction of a mm or so over a couple of metre length will hardly be noticable and may be the difference in having do do a cut or not !!!

Thanks for that. This was what i was thinking, space out and try to avoid any cuts, i think im going to run into problems as i have just had a look at the walls and there is 6 sockets, lots of ridges, corners and a window ledge. :mad2:

You need to look at things like this at quote stage !!
It is unlikely that I would have even taken this job on with glass mosaics, no matter what the price - too much hassle - too much likelyhood of cuts looking crap !!
Would rather sit at home for a day and watch Jeremy Kyle with a can of Stella or 2 !!!!
