Hi all,
Does anyone have any suggestions for colouring epoxy grout? Here is my problem:
I'm trying to match an epoxy grout to my large slab (1000x600) granite worktop. It's a mottled dark green varying to almost black:

I had planned to grout with Mapei's Kerapoxy translucent hoping it would pick up the colour from the granite but when I tried it on some off-cuts it doesn't do so enough. Now I'm wondering if I can pre-colour the translucent mix to match the worktop (rather then stain the finished grouting). Mapei's colour range doesn't have a dark enough green otherwise I'd use their pre-coloured grout.
Does anyone have any ideas or experience of colouring Kerapoxy translucent? If so what did you use? Or do you know of another manafacturer with dark green epoxy grout in their colour chart.
As the surface is mottled I can also think about a mix of dark green and black or anthracite and mixing this in (after the grout is thoroughly mixed) to get a non-homogenous colouring to try to merge with the mottled granite. Anyone tried doing this and had success, or not, as the case maybe?
Thanks for reading
