Hi all,

Would appreciate any comments on attached photos. This is the second attempt, following my request for the company who did it to start again. They removed all tiles bought new ones and this is result.
Please tell me there are better tilers out there :mad2:

Welcome. It's not great, but I have seen worse. Lippage, inconsistent grout joints, poor cutting and no expansion joints (grout & no silicone) in wall/floor intersections screams little attention to detail and poor workmanship. No excuses in my opinion

Thanks for asking. First attempt ha grout lines about 1/2 cm out on three walls.

Asking for cash back, since I had bought the tiles initially, and cash to get it redone. Small bathroom 2.5m x 2.5m one wall remaining free of tiles. What do you think total £XX or is that too much. Tiles cost £380. Whole bathroom was done, furnishings, shower etc, which is ok, just tiling lets whole thing down. Partner wants blood :incazzato:, I just want a pleasant bathroom :lol:.

as others have said, not the worst we have seen on here.

did you get references..? was he a tiler, or some odd job bloke that dabbles in a bit of everything..?
was he the cheapest quote..?

Clearly not the best, or worst. But I wouldn't be expecting it for free?

The attention to detail is missing and it spoils the room. There's no excuse for fitting chipped tiles and the grout lines not lining up is just lame.

Might be working worth checking if the tiles are slightly different sizes that can cause tile joints not to line up amd stands out more with white grout. But as for fitting chipped tiles no excuse.

Sending a letter off tonight. Thanks for comments, think I am at least due money back for tiles and labour to get it redone. Annoying thing is,tiles taken off were done by me and a much better job, just could not find the time. (Got an expert team in? ) Will let you know the outcome. Thanks again.

cant see any silicone joint in one of the pics, a chipped tile can be replaced do you have more pics we can see of the overall job
