BBC News - Delhi Games village 'unfit for athletes'
first of all it's the poor accomodation,then a bidge connecting the main stadium and car park collapses now the local river is about to burst it's banks-guess what the?.....the athletes village is built on a flood plain for the river:yikes:
this looks like turning into an absolute mess if not a tradgedy!!!!!
how do they let things get so bad?

They should cancel the whole thing, this should never have been held there. The country didn't have the basic infrastructure in the first place, so how did they even expect them to organize a coordinate such an event. Having been to Delhi, and seen their building practices first hand...... i would have expected it to fail from the start!

I think the whole event should be scrapped, waste of time and money which could be used elsewhere.
