Cordless Fein

So got my yearly invitation to ToolFair 2011 and in the news letter it's got a picture of the new cordless Fein multi-master, looks good and the body now has a slight kick to it which should make it easier to hold. Not released yet but wonder if anybody has had a demo yet?

I would imagine its gonna be quite a few pennies,but a very handy tool to have on board. ive got the 240 bosch one. use it loads :smilewinkgrin:

I've got the cordless bosch one, at 10v(ish) it's a bit quick at draining batteries

tbh, I couldn't be faffed with a powered one, trailing leads about, my bosch has two batteries that do me, (one charges by the time the other has run flat)

Try trimming 5" American White oak architraves x 26 and you see the need for power, lol.
I had that lately.
I also used my handsaw to save the fein a bit.

normally if I'm trimming architraves Joe, I'll rest a tile on 5mm glazing spacers and just do the main ot it with handsaw, then use bosch for last bit

Hard to beat the saw at times Doug. Blades are too expensive for continuous use.The oak ruins them too. I find a bluntish saw works well on oak too.
