sounds like you'll have to lift the broken tiles to see what the problem is then think of a solution.

no, she dont want nothing done about them, she wants to leave it like it. i just wanted to know if you think i have any to worry about doing another floo in the house which is concrete laid by her son, and what can i do to be sure it dont happen to my floor.

id say the slab is cracked or theres an expansion joint under the cracked tiles as for the rest ,how thick is there any mesh and what strength is the concrete

Use ditra as a safety net but you have no knowledge about the concrete though.
