crackle glazed tiles ona fireplace

hi all,got an enquiry regarding these tiles for a fireplace which is in use with coal...are they suitable in your opinions?

i was thinking they may take on some dicolouration after a while?

Being glazed I would say they should be fine but then I don't know how the crackle would be effected :s

Not much help really lol. Although I know glazed tiles are sold and advertised for fireplaces.

They have to be sealed from my understanding and have a soft biscuit, might be worth giving the company a call..

Yep, they defo do have to be sealed, I fixed some in a kitchen a couple of months back, it stops the grout from leaching into the glaze
