hi all, great forum here with many excellent suggestions but I am still struggling to figure out the best way forward with my project.
I am looking to create a steamroom/shower area from the old separate loo. The exterior wall is brick, the two interior walls are of single breeze block construction with plaster and the fourth wall will be timber stud. The floor is wooden, the ceiling plasterboard.
So, do I stick marine ply to all surfaces, or concrete-board as many suggest?
Do I then use waterproof matting on all surfaces before tiling with waterproof adhesive & epoxy grout or do I use the latex paint type method before tiling?
Any advice appreciated...
