hi all, i was just wondering what others do to create abit of space to work ie where do u put ur saws n stuff, as ive just finished a small utility room and had to put my saws in the next room, had a bit of a mess trailing from one room to another and also its abit time consuming aswell, what does everyelse do just out of curiosity.

The van and the front of the hosue becomes my workspace usually. With plenty of mess trailing to and from the room / van. So dust sheets and careful planning with trailing cables and some clean as you go rules help a bit. Can be a git when it's raining and there's no shed or whatever. I've used ply over the back van doors before to create a shelter from rain to use the wet cutter. :(

recently seen on an american site what can be described as a small see through tent for wet cutting. Sorry I cant remember where I came across it. Obviously for indoor use but would be great for one of those awful NO COVER jobs

hi len mate..karl dahm does them..tents......

Use your wet saw indoors without creating any overspraying on floor, furniture or walls. Your customers will be grateful...

Basically take over the next room at least, usually the hall or landing. and try to be disciplined and put tools etc back in the van when you've finished with them even if you might need them tommorow. Always a problem though. Something i've also learnt is that if your working with another tiler then share tools, dont both get all the same stuff out.
