i have a card it says on the front CLIENT/CONTRACTOR SAFETY GROUP. SAFETY PASSPORT "ECITB" IS THAT a cscs ?

Nah, it should have the CSCS logo on it?

the e.c.i.t.b card is the safety passport its simular to c.s.c.s and you sometimes need them to work on site at things like chemical plants ect not new housing developments

when this comes into place in 2010 with the cscs cards does that mean anyone who does nt have a nvq will be made to stop trading or are you allowed to continue with the domestic work but not the site work

On big contracts and site work, yes. Bet your bottom dollar that it will effect domestic soon after too.

so if i start trading on my own just now how would i get nvq would i need to go through college or learn as i go and get an on site assesement

Call Chase Tiling Academy - they run the NVQ2 OSAT. They will give you the full run down on how to do it and how long it will take 🙂

would need to find one in scotland chase to far away to travel to all the time but thanks for the advice mate
