I've got a very good blade on my bridgesaw that leaves perfect edges so didn't need to tidy them up - in the past I have used a diamond file.

I used an SDS drill with a chisel attachment to get back to the blockwork :

You can see all the impact marks!

Not hard work as the drill does it all but very very dusty!

Standard hole saws for the bath. Drill them all the time and it's only scary the first time you do it!! Or when it's a
£1500 tub!!
Tips would be:
Mask area off and take your time to mark out the holes. (be sure to take into account that your tiles will be fitted behind the taps so give yourself room)
Check underside of rim to make sure there's no wood or wierd acrylic moulding going on that could cause you hassle.
If a monoblock mixer tap then drill the first hole and then offer the tap body up and check that the 2nd hole you marked up is still all good before committing to the final cut.

Plasterboard dot and dabbed straight onto blocks with drywall adhesive. PVA soln onto blocks first to consolidate any remaining dust.

No mate. Biasi rads that I get dirt cheap. They always used to come with 4 no matter what size then one day they cut the number to 3 up to a certain size. The bigger ones still come with 4.
