Just completed this pre-christmas :
Wet room walls in glass mosaic, pillars in mirror mosaic, wet room circle was water jet cut by local company. Rest of bathroom was in travertine as were shelves with glass mosaic front edges. Nice little earner, made over a grand on supply of tiles alone. Exposed edge joints at entrance to room and on edges of shelves were butt jointed and polished. :sifone:

Got another coming up in six weeks, my plumber contact is pushing them big time. That was my first, next one will be even easier. Must admit it was a challenge, she paid a fortune for the job incl tiles. Would have been costly to rectify if she had not been happy.
P.S Husband is a high powered Solicitor with a brand new Bentley Continental on the drive. She drives a Porsche Carrera. They also have a new Range Rover Sport in the Garage for the winter ( they live down a farm track that is very slippy when it snows )

lovely job but from a totally personal view, those mirror mosaics are hideous!

well hideous is a bit strong 20,000,000 disco balls cant be wrong but they look well out of place against the rest. but they were fixed nicely!!

Customer wanted them.

You have no idea how hard they were to do.

Most mosaics are webbed on the back, these had plastic on the front.
Hence ( If you can imagine ) When you pressed the mirror mosaic onto the pillars ( Which was basically a black plastic soil pipe ) : The plastic on the front of the mirror mosaics forced them together ( instead of apart if they had been webbed on the back )

Every single sheet of mirror mosaics had to be cut into single strips and fixed to the pillar and also ( tickled ) to get them to fit all the way round with no cutting at the join with the other mosaics.
Very very time consuming !!!!!
