Deffo a standard hacksaw......makes cutting easier....start with light cutting strokes , so it doesn't jump out of cut line and scratch the trim...
They do a lovely one called either TREP T or TREP N, has a strip that shows up florescent in the dark, so you don't trip down the stairs.
