daughters house project

this cottage has taken me 4 months to complete,we bought it for my daughter to rent,real cheap:yikes:,basicly just to help her out.

it was built in 1870 with around 100 more,but only 2 rows have survived the years. i have done all the work myself,apart from the plumbing,painting and electrics(although the plumber who did the bathroom,the bloke who did the central heating wouldent do the bathroom,he was a gas engineer, was a touch rough).
the downstairs floors were a nightmare to tile,the bloke who had it before me was a jobbing builder,he lived in it and had been doing it up for 5 years. he concreted the floors with a shovel i think:mad2:,it was impossible to level them due to heights+the bathroom is downstairs at the back of the kitchen /diner,and was 2" lower than the kitchen floor,even before i attemted to level it.
anyway,its finished now(well,nearly:smilewinkgrin,she is in.
i am waiting to be pulled to bits,enjoy the lots and lots of photos

Craig mate it looks fantastic. my only criticism is that i would move the bath sign from over the toilet( pic 47 ).:lol::lol: you never know with some folk. But in all seriousness cracking job mate you should be very very proud.

cheers for the replys,it was hard graft,had my lads and mates to help out as well who i had done favours for over the years,pulled them all in saying "remember when i skimmed that ceiling/tiled your kitchen for nowt" ect ect.:hurray:

and yes,it was worth it to get rid of our sophie:smilewinkgrin: and just to see her smile,only problem is we have a 4 year old so have to save up all over again for when she is 19:yikes:.
