Day 3 TV stuff (this is harder than I expected it to be lol) Discussion ThreadDay 3 TV stuff (this is harder than I expected it to be lol) Electrical Advice
well now to throw some stuff on the tv wiring I did ages ago
I have a labgear 8 port distribution amplifier mounted in the airing cupboard (eventually I'll add a socket for it one day)
then I have a fm antenna connected to it and an older tv aerial in the back garden ran with a 20 ish meter maybe run of rg6 coax that runs up the back wall and drops into the loft through the eaves.
I then just used the holes the cold water pipes use to run into the cupboard where I added f plugs to everything and connected it (had to use f plugs to splice the stuff in the loft also which I have a plan to add a patch panel for also at some point to tidy it up
I did use some electrical tape on the older f plugs to help with holding them a bit more secure but I doubt it's really needed tbh
I'll get better images later
the cat 6 cable hanging down is for an eventual upgrade with running a line downstairs at some point
