Decoup mat

This is a good question and one that i was asked for the first time last week, can the matting be used on walls? In all honesty i don't know the definitive answer because in theory it should work but as mentioned above the concern is weight pulling on the matting.

For now we would have to say no but we will begin some trials on this and we will inform you of the results once the tests have been completed.

In regards to fixing the Dural to these floorboards, it is worth checking out what type/brand of floorboards they are. Some floorboards are finished with a protective coating and this surface can be difficult to bond to. If there is no treatment on the surface, i suggest you follow Weber's instructions for priming given that you are using their SPF - best to follow their guidance.
 
Might sound a stupid question but could this used on walls as it's so thin...as in if someone had blocked a door way up with out removing the wood frame.

I'm certain it can. I used some thicker Mapei Mapetex for this exact thing around 18 months ago and it worked a treat [emoji106]
