I my being a bit dumb, don't all shout at once, but is it a floating membrane or a uncoupling membrane? Can it be both at the same time?
And why the American commentary? That put me off from the start.....if you want to sell it here, English commentary please.
And did you hear, back buttering of tiles not required ..... :(

Out of curiosity, has anyone here laid onto and unbonded decoupler before? I know Ardex also do the DS20 which can be bonded or unbonded, but fixing tiles on a loose mat to me really doesn't sound right???

I can see the advantage if you have a stand in a show or if you have a missus (like mine) that a tile will go down and she wants a different one 2 months later. Don't know if its just me, but I wouldn't feel happy walking on that.

Yeah, have done loads in the 80's - also, when ditra first came out I am sure we even laid that unbonded....... it is much the same principle.

During the video - I think you will find that the commentator says that they recommend back buttering even if the industry doesn't. (USA standards might be different, as in the BS type standard.)

I will listen again Tom, but sure he said not needed but was recommended under this or that
