Decoupling membrane colour

I am aware of the limited choices of decoupling membranes available and the colours which they come in (most are manufacturer specific).

What would be your preferred colour of membrane and why?

I actually quite like working with orange coloured decouplers, but if I could choose another colour it would have to be blue purely as it is calming on the eye!

I'll always choose orange if I have a choice but, I'm still more than happy to use yellow.

I would prefer which ever colour made the product cheaper...not that fussed otherwise.

I actually quite like the orange but I suppose if Ditra was yellow then I would be ok with that. If it was red I would change product on principal :lol:

I've got a blue one Dave - the red of course refers to that lot from the city of Salford !!!!

Not sure of any reason to be bothered by the colour, but white adhesive, on yellow mat on blue hardi for me

Just a bit of fun mate! Black membrane would be good also but a nightmare to mark & cut

Any decoupler must infuriate the customer (Ditra is so bright). Last thing you want to hear from the customer: "Wow the orange Ditra looks fantastic and is so much cheaper to lay than tiles....."
