is this machine ok?maby i want to buy one. my favourite is the accuglide saw from usa but there can´t offer a 240V version for the german market. there are a new one from eibenstock but i don´t like it. it don´t look good.
can you make long distance miters with the rails? the blade diameter is strange but i think its purpose.

It is a good saw, I think the latest model is the CS60 though. It is aimed more at stone than tiles though.

All of the people I know that use this are cutting 20mm, 30mm and 40mm marble, granite, quartz and limestone.

The rail system is accurate - accurate enough to mitre I'm not sure as we never used for that.

I've got one and its usefull but has a few bad points
no guide rail , the water feed jets are made from plastic (one of mine snapped when i looked at it!) and the shut off valve doesn't like to great a preassure ie hose blows off
but its very powerfull feels great to cut with I just used mine to cut 25mm slate fireplace into tiles for a front step(don't know how I'd have done it without one ) and the finish of cut was exceptional and made the job a lot easier
