Hi all.

Just wanting some advice and wondering what the pros in here are using nowadays for cutting large format porc?

Ive been relatively lucky up until recently and been able to cut most of the tiles customers choose with my trusty DeWalt D2400 but I have a few wet rooms coming up with niches to cut around sloped ceilings and larger 1200x600 tiles and some outdoor porc 900’s that are too big to comfortably cut on the 2400 I was thinking of upgrading to the DeWalt D3600 but unsure if that’s even big enough?

What are you all using to wet cut large porc?

If you didn't want to invest in another large tool/cutter how about something like this?

I still use my 4" grinder with a montolit dna blade (with a wet sponge if required), its useful for pretty much everything, once you have a steady hand, straight lines are easy and I use it to mitre by hand as well, again easy when you've had practice and you can see what's going on with the cut, rather than a nasty surprise when you lift the foot plate off the tile with those types of cutters(in my opinion), but each to their own, I try to keep things as simple as possible, and the costs down especially in these times. For repetitive straight eg cuttting tiles into perfect small squares etc, I tend to use a bridge saw as it's pretty tedious and tiring using a grinder for that purpose, again you don't need to spend a fortune, as long as the bridge runs true and steady and you have a good blade in it appropriate for the material you are cutting, youre good to go.
