Dewalt mitres

Just been using our new dewalt wet saw really pleased with it so far. Question is who thinks we could fit a timber blade to it and cut mdf skirting?

It would probably work actually as the motor on the D24000 is likely mroe powerful that the motor on a dewalt cross cut mitre saw. Id turn the water off first though

It wouldn't cut lengths anyway. The bridge will be in the way. You can buy a reasonable mitre saw for not a lot compared to a D24000.

I was thinking more for external mitres. I could length with a hand saw easy them mitre after. I will try it and post a video

A lot easier to buy or hire a chop saw IMO. Using the Dewalt DW24000 is overkill.

I use the DeWalt DW777 for skirtings.

The reason I have it is it is compact and it slides within itself so you don't have the slide bars sticking out the back of it so it stays small. Another reason I have it is it has a really good three port dust extraction system ( separate kit) so you can use it indoors without much dust. I have it for hardwood flooring and the dust is negligible.
