Both Makita and Dewalt are good if you get the proper trade ranges.

I have the LXT Makita kit and a good dewalt combi drill. I have a Milwaukee one too but tend to use the Makita most out of them all.

As mentioned previously Hilti are good too.

ex AA van, they decommission them after 4 years service, I got this one from a chap in Coventry who deals in ex AA, british gas, network rail and several others.

The AA - Roadside Services, possibly :lol:

In the bright sunlight you can still see the AA in the paint on the sides and the bonnet! It needs a proper mop to get rid of it, never bothered me that much but do want to have it done.

Just know I am using Makita which I find is a good product. A couple of mates that are joiners who are using their drills costantly have which from dewalt to mikita and find them far better. Although that being said in my old company it was hilti that was the supplied drill and they were great. So whateva you decide to go for out the three is still a good buy

My Joiner friends have switch from dewalt to makita which I personally use and thinks great. Saying that tho Hilti are brilliant guns

if money was no object then id go for hilti drills but pound for pound makita is right up there. i use makita hammer drills, angle grinders & 18v lion cordless drill, jig saw and circular saw.

Hilti are very good but to be honest, for the price Milwaukee all day long. I was running festool for a few years till my kit went walkies due to theifs, replaced 2yrs ago with milwaukee never been happier.....
