evening guys

am new to the trade and feel like its going well but have a quote tommorow thats making me scratch my head.
7sq m diamond pattern in a hexagonal shape:mad2:
consrvatory floor.

i rerally have no idea as to how long to give myself, i work relatively quick but obviously want to set out well to make it slightly easier.
any help would be gratefully appreciated

Setting out should be quite straight forward, I would have thought. Unless there are any awkward cuts that I'm not aware of, I would find the centre of the room and then ping the datum lines (there was a recent post where some good advice for setting out diamond was explained, I'll see if I can find it in a minute ).

If you can nornally do a 7m2 floor straight set in a day, then I would have said that you should be able to achieve the diamond in 1 day too, but only you know how fast you work.

Good luck.

cheers guys, i know how too set out the diamond floor no worries, just a bit wary as too how long it might take , havent had the pleasure of a funny shaped room as yet. guess it should not really make much difference

thanks for advice on angle finder mate but really dont like using them , strangely i get a more acurate cut using a half tile to measure.

so it should be cracked in a day then, fingers crossed:thumbsup:

Sounds to me like you just need to square off the hexagon before you start your setting out procedure and work from there.
