Diamond Pattern

Hi all,

Only recently started out, and so far haven't had any jobs including diamond pattern. Have a good idea how to set out, but is there anything I should be aware of or any tips you could give me?

Find the centre of the room as you would for laying square then get a load of tiles and lay them out dry, this will help you to see where any small/ awkward cuts will fall and allow you to make any adjustments before you start sticking.

Spend an extra 20minutes with a staff rod to set the room out.:smilewinkgrin:

As above and as with any tiling, take the time to set it out so that nothing bites you in the backside later on.

i agree, only had mine a week but more impressed by the day. £275 well spent. and to think i wasted £230 on a rubi ts 60 only 18 months back.

Thanks for the tips guys, Dean's pdf is great. Presumably you can use pretty much the same method for walls?
