Hi everyone - I'm new to the forum and this is my first post although I have been lurking here for the past week looking for solutions/answers to my own tiling problems. Still "feeling" my way around and not sure where to post my "problem" .... primarily to do with finding best tile cutter for a woman. I am of slight built so require a machine that will do all the work . For my first tiling job I have 40x40 porcelain, 30x60 travertine 30x60 and 45x45 ceramic. I would like to get just one tile cutter that will do it all. My preference would be for a dual purpose cutter for wet or dry cutting but I have only seen grinders and they don't look easy to use! Any ideas??? Look forward to 'talking' to you all ......

Hello and welcome.. you should find any tile cutter will suffice no matter how slight or what sex you are.

Hi All - thanks for the warm welcome and advise and sorry for not responding sooner. I've been too busy shopping for tiles, looking at videos on how to tile and tiling!!! I'm pleased to say it's turned out well - thanks to the good tutorials from Homebase and B&Q. I'm hoping to do my my kitchen splash back next. I have a mid to leaf green to blue tile and I'm wondering if I should use a grey grout or white or another color? Also wondering if the ready mixed adhesive/grout is OK or if its better to use an adhesive and grout for a better finish? Looking forward to hearing from you all and thank you for taking the time to leave your comments.

hello LT don't buy the all in one stuff, go along to a tile shop and buy a tub of white adhesive (asumming it will be a white or off white adhesive) and seperate grout and a tube of matching silicon for the two mm gap you will leave between tile and worktop
