It will be having latex in Douge.

Nice idea Rob, i will do that.

How soon Dave, jobs coming up in a couple of weeks.

Phil, this has helped me before because the customer can see the Ditra/tile combo in person. From the side I show them that the tile is bonded to the Ditra, and the Ditra is bonded to the substrate, but the tile isn't bonded directly to the substrate. They can see what's going on then.

I don't ever get too technical because they aren't interested (unless they are an engineer). And it's better than just looking at the website.

Pray you never work for an engineer - what a nightmare they are :mad2:

Done that.

He was even a professor teaching it. He pulled me up on having the loo 3mm out over the width of the loo (about 350mm in total, about 250mm where it attached to the wall) and I never even touched the loo, I just tiled to the walls requirements and compensated for the plasterers results.

Really really complicated customer. The upside, they really want to know and understand the details of things so stress to them at every stage what the compromise is of every situation. You could even start a trend off of them all understanding that they should trust those they employ due to their skill that they do NOT have! (probably not, but worth a try).
