Do you buy adhesives based on price alone.?

Only stick to what I know. I've only ever had a couple of customers who had already bought addy and grout from suppliers and they took them back when I said to them that I like to use my own products as I know they work. They were more than happy to take my advice.

Use Biscem most regularly as I like and know how it performs and can get it for a good price. Although a builders merchants close by sells Everbuild adhesive for £6 a bag and can't say I'm tempted. Not worth it failing over the sake of £20 or £30 difference on a job.

i use weber cause its cheap, and good, and bal grouts cause there easy to use..

i used to use bal adhesives till i found weber so in answer to your question price dose play a big part for me, however if i found it was crap stuff or hard to work with i wouldnt have changed for good..

Im almost the same as Andy, I have found myself switching to Weber from Bal as CTD sell it at a very good price & its a great adhesive into the bargain.

Still use Bal wall grout as its easy to work with.

It does come down to price as why pay double the price for an adhesive when its doing the exact same job.
