I don't keep everything in there, I wouldn't have the room! All the expensive cutters are kept under lock and key and only get taken to the job if they are needed.

Thanks for the move. I keep all the everyday stuff in there, grinder, drills, radio, mixer which are worth a few quid but if they did go missing I could cope with it as it's not really practical for me to take them out every night, all the manual and wet cutters are probably 2k to replace so I don't take any risks with them and, as I mentioned earlier, only take them if I need them.

I'm quite happy to leave my tools in my van, as most of the time the vans locked up in the lockup/store. But I have to say I don't worry about it getting broken into as I have insurance. I always empty the van and load it up for the next day, as there's nothing worse than having to do it in the morning.

i leave my tools in the van overnight but i'm lucky as there's very little crime around here. i don't remember the last time i heard of a theft from a car/van or a burglary. a lot of my tools are kept in my garage too, and the locks broke! i know i should be more careful as you never know.

it all depends for me. if i'm sober enough to walk without assistance i may bring in an empty bucket and a bag of spacers. however, as sometimes happens, i don't manage to get out of the van before passing out, so it renders the question moot.

what eh,no crime,i was on anglesey the other year(triader bay,i know,i can't spell)diving,we stayed in the local pub,class joint,wiped your feet on the way out,both nights there was police drug raids,dogs sniffing at me and everything,rough as hell,and i live in burnley:lol:.(im kinda joking,i love angelsey)

i leave all my cutters wet and dry in my unit(ok,ok,my wifes unit)but when im using them i leave in my van,
its parked under my bedroom window,i hear owt,im a extreamly light sleeper, ive got a ikkle bat and something else next to me bed,which i have no problem in using,well,unless they are really big:yikes:,then i will just ring the plod and wait a few hours under the bed for them to arrive:smilewinkgrin:

My house is well detached and my van holds most of my gear all the time.
I do tend to leave big cutter, milwaukee kango etc locked up but my big 10M saw sit's in the van all the time.

i take it you mean trearddur bay (or royal trearddur as it's now known due to prince william frequenting the area lol) i'll have to lock my van now seeing as all you dodgy guys know my secret :lol::lol:
