Does anybody get work from leaflet dropping??

yeah looks really good, just do your best when you do your first job, take your time. speed will come with time

Monty did you do darrens course?? Just it was mentioned on the course as your company name is very good

I think a response rate of 0.5%-1% is good.
so 5,000 gives 25-50 calls and say you get 1in3 jobsthat you quote on that is 8-16 jobs so all you need to do is work the maths to see how many you need to deliver a month to get enough work.remember it may take a couple of months from dropping the leaflet to actually be on site, so you need to factor this in as well.

These figures are only estimates ideally when you get a few responses you can put in your actual figures. and from that you can work out how many cards you need to deliver per job and then the cost to get each job......and from that is it cost effective???

sorry if this is all a bit long winded but it is how you would asses a professional marketing campaign.

...Does anybody else do leaflet dropping and as it worked well for you?...

Monty

Best success wishes from here, Monty. But I am sorry to say that my clients didn´t neither get any work by leaflets nor by giving V-cards. Best results gave advertising in newspapers and on the service cars, bigger tilers with own websites - and of course good quality works. Martin

I got them from leyland near preston the telephone number is 01772468570

Monty,

I did mine in May last year mate.

Normally on estimates if its a bigger job I would measure up, discuss requirements etc, find out if they have tiles, if they want you to supply tiles etc and then take the information away and come up with a quote and either ring or call back in to the customer.

However on this one, depending on if the floor needs any boarding work doen etc etc I would normally give a price at day rate.

You should be able to do that in a day but allow 2 for yourself.

My price for that would be around the £150 rate if I could do it in 1 day maybe stretch to £200 if it was going to take 2 days which on my first floor it would have done.

Dont forget though the plumbing etc toilets sinks whether or not your removing them etc etc

Good luck Monty

I think I should be going back into the print shop and getting summit like 90% discount from now on with the amount of business I've passed their way
