Your customer orders their own tiles and order short :mad2: So I get there at the beginning of this week and let him know there's not enough, turns out no stock until today, so here I am sitting (loads of other things to be done, but none I can start until Monday as 2 jobs next week in London - 1hr 30 mins away:mad2 waiting for TG to call, so I can go get the 56 tiles needed to finish mitred corners around 2 boxings and really awkward cuts around flush fitting lights. So much for my free weekend to get my shopping done eh! Rant over.

the tile suppliers dont help either by not advising them on the amount they need to order for a given area, thats assuming they can read a tape LOL

i did estimate for client last month, i usually add 10% for cuts so told her to order 2.5m2 from a independant. she ordered 2, guess what? need another 15 tiles 20*10 to finish splashback. problem though there's no stock of that batch left. its a good job i left the top row under cupboards off, so if the new ones are a slightly different shade they can hardly be seen.
