does anyone cut the achitrave and slot the tile underneath??
much easier but if skirting is on difficult to cut through

if its against an achitrave you could use decoraters cork its flexi and over paintable
as long as its not in a wet area

good tip , but as u say not in wet areas dont think caulk is anti fungal/mildew resistant
in areas of " high humidity.." dave....

THANKS for the replies lads,personal point of view is that the tile trim finish looks a better quality finish dont you all think?suppose you need to take into account what type of tile it is for example natural stone does not exactly look the part with a tile trim,what do you think boys?

Brian it is your job to make these descisions,if your'e not happy how can your customer be? your'e not an elite member for nothing

I use decorators caulk ,same as i use it round the top of the tiles at the ceiling if there are small gaps
