The circles are after a shower or bath and dry out after a couple of hours when the heating is on. Work only done before Xmas and tiles direct to wall which is external. Asked the tiled a few questions about using dark adhesive on a light tile but not very friendly in response, didn't know to look out for d and d.
the cold from the wall is transferring thro the adhesive to the tile which is condensating causing the wet circle. The air pocket between the dabs is acting as a barrier hence warmer spot around the dabs. once heating is on the tiles uniformly warm so no condensation.... just my thoughts
all depends on the quality and integrity of tile and grout. at very least you should seal grout with a quality sealer. I think you will always have the wet circle problem until you ripout and redo.prob board walls before tiling if they cold
