Dragons Den (Plumbing tools)

Did anyone see Dragons Den last night?

There was a company with some plumbing tools which I though looked like a good idea, could come in handy now and again

Saw it, rubbish, I know a lot of heating engineers/plumbers and how have they survived over the years with standard tools.

I think if the Rad clamps were priced a bit better they would be great for the DIY market

Sorry mark, wheres my pipe grips at. Wish somebody would invent the perfect tap spanner though, 30 yr old bath tap in a 2" gap for example lol

Probably more the diy market, the thing for the tap looked complicated:yikes:

turned it off after 2 mins

the solutions they have come up with do not solve the problem.

Leverage on the pipe is not the problem.

draining rads is more probmatic with their system then doing it the traditional way


turned off at this point as I could not watch director No.2 any longer

I saw it and quite liked it, too, tools are tools, people have different preferences, don't they... from a business point of view you could see it could be tricky, as the demand is not as high as for more versatile tools...

Does anyone else find that noise on dragons den really irritating?...the one that sounds like Popeye's pipe and you hear it intermittently just after the victims have made their pitch. You maybe haven't noticed it before but you will now :lol:

I would have the taps fit from the top (push button or some locking device) Water plumbed into a (accessible) manifold House wives could change their taps each year with the fashion or when they become tarnished. All I have to do is change every bath in the world.
